Beer Brat Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 lb bratwurst sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beer
- 1 lb pasta
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced bratwurst and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened. Add the bell peppers and cook until tender-crisp.
- Add the diced tomatoes (with their juice) and beer to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let cook for a few minutes to reduce the liquid.
- Add the cooked bratwurst back to the skillet and let cook for a few more minutes to heat through.
- Once the pasta is done, drain it and add it to the skillet. Toss the pasta with the sauce and bratwurst.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Instant Pot Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb pasta
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. Once hot, add the olive oil and garlic. Sauté for a minute, then add the chicken. Cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pot to release any browned bits.
- Add the pasta to the pot, making sure it is submerged in the liquid.
- Close the Instant Pot and set it to manual mode for 8 minutes.
- Once the timer goes off, quick release the pressure and open the lid.
- Stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with additional parmesan cheese and serve hot.
